Impact Factor (JCR) 2022: 0.8 ℹImpact Factor (JCR):

The JCR provides quantitative tools for ranking, evaluating, categorizing, and comparing journals. The impact factor is one of these; it is a measure of the frequency with which the “average article” in a journal has been cited in a particular year or period. The annual JCR impact factor is a ratio between citations and recent citable items published. Thus, the impact factor of a journal is calculated by dividing the number of current year citations to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years.

5-Year Impact Factor: 0.7 ℹ5-Year Impact Factor:

A 5-Year Impact Factor shows the long-term citation trend for a journal. This is calculated differently from the Journal Impact Factor, so it is not simply an average of the Impact Factors in the time period. The Impact Factor itself is based only on Web of Science Core Collection citation data from the last three years and thus reflects only recent impact. The Journal Impact Factor is the average number of times articles from the journal published in the past two years have been cited in the Journal Citation Reports year.

CiteScore 2023: 1.7 ℹCiteScore:

CiteScore is the number of citations received by a journal in one year to documents published in the three previous years, divided by the number of documents indexed in Scopus published in those same three years.

SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) 2023: 0.215 ℹSCImago Journal Rank (SJR):

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP) 2023: 0.388 ℹSource Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP):

SNIP measures a source’s contextual citation impact by weighting citations based on the total number of citations in a subject field. It helps you make a direct comparison of sources in different subject fields. SNIP takes into account characteristics of the source's subject field, which is the set of documents citing that source.

Annales de Chimie - Science des Matériaux (ACSM) is a top-rated international journal that publishes scientific papers, concerning the cutting-edge innovations in solid material science. The journal covers a broad spectrum of scientific fields, ranging all the way from metallurgy, semiconductors, solid mineral compounds, organic macromolecular compounds to composite materials. The editorial board encourages the submission of original papers that deal with all aspects of material science, including but not limited to synthesis and processing, property characterization, reactivity and reaction kinetics, evolution in service, and recycling. The papers should provide new insights into solid materials and make a significant original contribution to knowledge.

The ACSM welcomes original research papers, technical notes and review articles on various disciplines, including but not limited to:

Publication Frequency

The ACSM is published regularly by the IIETA, with six regular issues (excluding special issues) and one volume per year.

Peer Review Statement

The IIETA adopts a double blind review process. Once submitted, a paper dealing with suitable topics will be sent to the editor-in-chief or other members of the editorial board, and then be reviewed by at least two experts in the relevant field. The reviewers are either members of our editorial board or special external experts invited by the journal. In light of the reviewers’ comments, the editor-in-chief or other members of the editorial board will make the final decision over the publication, and return the decision to the author.

There are four possible decisions concerning the paper: acceptance, minor revision, major revision and rejection. Acceptances means the paper will be published directly without any revision. Minor revision means the author should make minor changes to the manuscript according to reviewers’ comments and submit the revised version to the IIETA. The revised version will be accepted or rejected at the discretion of the editor-in-chief or other members of the editorial board. Major revision means the author should modify the manuscript significantly according to reviewers’ comments and submit the revised version to the IIETA. The revised version will be accepted or rejected at the discretion of the editor-in-chief or other members of the editorial board. Rejection means the submitted paper will not be published.

If a paper is accepted, the editor-in-chief or managing editor will send an acceptance letter to the author, and ask the author to prepare the paper in MS Word using the template of IIETA.

Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism is committed when one author uses another work without permission, credit, or acknowledgment. Plagiarism takes different forms, from literal copying to paraphrasing the work of another. The IIETA uses iThenticate to screen for unoriginal material. Authors submitting to an IIETA journal should be aware that their paper may be submitted to CrossRef at any point during the peer-review or production process. Any allegations of plagiarism made to a journal will be investigated by the editor-in-chief or managing editor. If the allegations appear to be founded, we will request all named authors of the paper to give an explanation of the overlapping material. If the explanation is not satisfactory, we will reject the submission, and may also reject future submissions.
