IoT and Machine Learning Based Application for Biomedical Signal Processing and Imaging
Introduction
Biomedical Signal Processing and Imaging aims to provide an international forum for the exchange of information related to research in the measurement of signals in clinical medicine and the biological sciences. Special attention will be given to submissions that deal with methods and devices that are used in clinical diagnosis, patient monitoring and management, as well as practical, applications-driven research.
To solve problems that are difficult to model analytically, machine learning (ML) is widely used today. There are many applications that benefit from ML tools due to the democratisation of effective and user-friendly computational facilities. Biomedical signal processing and imaging faces a great challenge and opportunity to integrate machine learning tools in applications such as diagnosis aid, reconstruction, restoration, and data analysis in this context. For biomedical signal processing and image processing, machine learning (ML) has a wide range of applications, from diagnosis to therapy.
It was inspired by the growing use of machine learning in biomedicine. With the help of machine learning tools, this journal will help to highlight recent advances in a variety of applications dealing with biomedical signals processing and images. How machine learning (ML) and deep learning methods can be used to solve various problems in biomedical signal processing and imaging (such as segmentation) is the goal of the proposal. Researchers are interested in topics such as Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence/machine learning and its applications in biomedical field. It's not just about information and communication technology; it's about all kinds of systems in our society like business and finance as well as manufacturing, management, and the environment, among other things. Digital-to-physical connectivity (IoT) enables massive amounts of data to be generated. Large amounts of data can be processed in the cloud, which allows for intelligent decisions to be made based on big data analysis and machine learning. In this journal, we'll be looking at how these cutting-edge technologies are analysed, modelled, simulated, and applied in a variety of fields.
If we are seeking to solve a variety of problems with IoT-based systems, the Blockchain is one of the most promising technologies, with smart contracts at its core. Blockchain technology may be applied to a wide range of IoT devices and processes. A smart watch (healthcare application) that measures your pulse (biomedical data) is an example of an IoT device that is more geared toward the needs of the end user.
To bring together recent methodological and applied advances in machine learning for biomedical data, which are of particular interest to the signal and image processing community in regard to their challenges and opportunities, this journal proposal has been created.
