Caractérisation spectrale d'un système d'impression jet d'encre à huit encres
Spectral characterization of an eight colorant inkjet system
OPEN ACCESS
The experimental setup of a 8-channel inkjet printing system is proposed in this article. The aim is spectral reproduction, that is to reproduce picture within a spectral match with an original picture. A spectral model of the printer based on the Yule-Nielsen modified spectral Neugebauer YNSN equation is presented, discussed, and evaluated experimentally. This model can provide a fast estimate of the color response and spectral response of the printer.
Although the spectral and colorimetric precision of the printer model leaves room for improvement, the presented research forms an interesting foundation for further research in the field of spectral color reproduction.
