Prof. Giulio Lorenzini in World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University

Prof. Giulio Lorenzini (PhD), Editor-in-Chief of MMEP, has figured among the top two per cent scientists in a global list compiled by the prestigious Standford University. The list represents the most-cited scientists in various disciplines, whose published research manuscripts have accelerated progress in their respective fields and influenced the productivity of the work of other researchers.

The list was prepared by prof. John P.A. Loannidis and his team by grouping all the researchers under 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. Through field specific analysis, world-renowned scientists were ranked as per their specialization, based on standardized citation indicators like information on citations, H-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, as well as a composite indicator.

Prof. Giulio Lorenzini, Full Professor of Environmental Technical Physics at the Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Parma, has been listed for the citations of his research publications and his immense contribution to his field of research.

This recognition of Prof. Giulio Lorenzini in the World's Top 2% Scientists List has placed the IIETA in the global map of excellence in scientific research and has brought great pride to the institution.

MMEP, a.k.a. Mathematical Modelling of Engineering Problems, is a top-rated international quarterly of the IIETA, reporting the latest mathematical models and computer methods for scientific and engineering problems.
