Abstract:

This paper deals with a two-step source localization problem, which aims to identify which source is responsible for a significant change in the measured pollutant concentration in a monitored area. We first develop a blind identification procedure for unknown physical parameters conditional to the source coordinates. The true source coordinates are then obtained by minimizing a source partial spectral density distance, based on the power spectral densities of the observations. Simulations examples attest to the effectiveness of the algorithm.
